Job Summary:

Operates landscaping and construction heavy equipment; ensuring landscaping and snow removal projects are completed to provide a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests and team members.

Job Duties:

1. Operates all heavy landscaping and construction equipment for large-scale landscaping, snow removal, and operational functions. Operates street sweeping equipment. Driving is an essential function of this job. Team members must adhere to the driving standards determined by the Gaming Enterprise.
2. Constructs and maintains new and existing landscape. Plants, prunes, and fertilizes all trees, shrubs, and flowers.
3. Performs preventative maintenance inspections and ensures safety devices are in working order on heavy equipment.
4. Completes maintenance and preventative maintenance of parking facilities to include sweeping, scrubbing, pressure washing, sealing of decks, and other routine maintenance.
5. Assists Public Works and Gaming Enterprise departments in special projects, including assisting Moving Services Specialists.
   

1. Two years experience operating commerical landscaping and heavy construction equipment.
2. Must possess a valid Class "B" driver's license and good driving record.
3. Two years experience in landscape construction and maintenance.
4. High School graduate or GED.
5. Knowledge of welding.
6. Industrial Truck Driving permit may be required (forklift).
7. Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
8. Temperature extremes - As related to climate conditions.  May work in sub-zero conditions in winter or excessive heat in the summer in a non-climate controlled environment.
