Healthcare Customer Service Representative
Atterro is hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Troy, AL! As a Customer Service Rep, you will assist customers with questions related to eligibility for the Connect for Health Colorado Program. You will also provide information about health insurance alternatives, give considerations in selecting health plans, and answer general questions about health insurance products. You will be responding to inquiries via inbound calls, chat, system referrals, fax and/or the internet. You will need the ability to work a flexible schedule, including any shift during operational hours (currently 7 am – 8 pm Monday – Saturday), and be able to work overtime as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Make referrals to other specialized informational resources within and outside the service center based on customer needs and according to program policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive image to the customer and all related entities and focus all actions toward customer service and satisfaction – balanced by consistent decisions.
• Answer questions consistent with program policy and guidelines and follow company processes.
• Protect client’s information and business. Maintain confidentiality of customer interactions consistent with program privacy and confidentiality rules.
• Enter data into policy system, log information into database and correct information as needed.
• Assure accuracy in eligibility and enrollment processing and make decisions in the best interest of protecting the integrity of the client’s business.
• Follow all guidelines in compliance with security and privacy standards, inclusive of but not limited to FTI, PHI, and HIPAA standards.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year call center experience
• Minimum 1 year customer service
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Must be able to type a minimum of 30 wpm
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
