Beyond our world-class service centers, there are many important challenges to be met in other FRS teams. Payments and Financial Operations strategically curate and enable payment acceptance for Target, working with internal and external partners to envision and advocate for the future, manage payment expense, proactively prevent fraud and manage the accounting and controls for FRS. FRS Operations and Product Team plays at the intersections of process and technology, and Service Center Shared Operations (SCSO) which develops comprehensive service delivery strategies for our service centers. FRS Financial Products manages and grows loyalty, frequency and other marketing programs for all Payment Cards (REDcard, GiftCard). The Credit Strategy and Compliance team manages the credit card program and related interactions with our bank partner, and includes the Credit Strategy, Credit Risk Underwriting and Compliance functions.

RedCard drives almost 25% of Target's sales, delivering incremental trips and spend for our organization. The Director, Financial Products role will be at the center of developing the brand strategy, product strategy, benefits architecture and operations to make RedCard the premier financial product in the retail industry. The Director will lead, motivate and develop a team of direct reports. This role will work extensively across the organization to integrate RedCard into company strategies where appropriate to improve overall Target LTV and guest engagement. The leader will build creative ideas that address guest needs, providing win-win solutions across diverse teams. Acting as a RedCard thought leader, they will bring new ideas from internal and external sources to improve our overall Target loyalty offering.

In addition, this role is responsible for building the overall RedCard strategy including product offerings, financials and new enhancements. The leader will work with their team to develop a roadmap of marketing, store, operations, capability and loyalty engagement and acquisition moments for RedCard, ultimately delivering on new account, retention, engagement and spend goals.

Lastly, the role is essential in designing and running tests on new benefits, new communication strategies and new products to determine optimal RedCard product architecture and improved marketing. The leaders will need to interpret financial, guest insights and operational performance to identify business risks and opportunities. Finally, the leader will work with peers across the enterprise to explore the financial product marketplace to determine if new products or strategies could be valuable additions to Target's financial products.

About you:

Current leader with at least 2 years of experience in managing a team

Strong analytical, decision-making, project management and organizational skills

Strong marketing, loyalty and/or brand management background

Creative problem-solving and risk-taking skills

Works well in ambiguous situations and can influence upward and across the organization

Ability to balance strategic thinking and attention to detail

Superior leadership skills with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for driving results
