Roundel is Target's entry into the media business; an advertising sell-side business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe content environments and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients. As the Director, Account Management, Roundel you will be Responsible for developing the strategic direction and execution plans for a vertical team inclusive of overseeing category / division level media & creative approach that drive shopper & ad revenue while supporting enterprise-wide initiatives. Strategic thought leader and expert across the category for their individual vertical. Ability to speak to Roundel's unique value proposition and differentiation; product offering, targeting schema, pricing and rate cards.

This role will oversee various client and sales deliverables; such as proposals, pre-sales, media approaches, and audience strategies for the vertical. Creates the overarching strategic approach for the category, standardizing client deliverables and ensuring on-brand communications and presentations across the team. You will remain up to date on industry trends both in the retail and digital advertising landscape. At Roundel, you will partner closely with various cross-functional teams; including but not limited to Target in India, Media Ad Ops & Reporting, Sales, Product Marketing Integration, Agencies, Brand, Creative partners and Target's key vendors to deliver and execute effective results and to uncover growth opportunities.

You are also someone who can identify and develop top talent as well as drive a client focused mindset and team. This position reports to the Sr. Director - Client Management, Roundel.

About You
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing/agency or media roles
  • Experience driving scaled media programs and managing teams in cross-functional environments
  • Continuous improvement mindset with structured problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence senior leadership
  • Strong collaborator with highly effective relationship and partnership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be strategic and proactive, taking an organized, integrated and data-driven approach
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership
  • Understanding of digital creative production & ad serving technology
  • Self-starter, capable of setting goals and reporting progress against them
  • Solid understanding of online metrics and strong negotiating skills
