CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIST

Fairview's Adolescent Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Program in Elk River, MN. Occasional shifts at three other Fairview locations in Chisago City, Crystal and Maplewood, Minnesota. Using a collaborative and interdisciplinary practice model to work with a team of program staff, teaching staff, chemical dependency counselors, psychotherapists, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. Will be actively involved in all patient care including intakes, follow-ups, medication management, and conducting family conferences.

Requirements: First professional degree in medicine, graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Psychiatry residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training program, board certified (or eligible) in Psychiatry with at least 3 years experience practicing as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Licensed or have ability to obtain Minnesota physician licensure. Fairview Health Services is affiliated with the University of Minnesota, and is an active partner in the University's research, teaching, and service missions and as such, teaching and/or research experience preferred.
