Financial Manager, Target Studio Workshop
This role provides financial management to enable the strategic long-term scalability and stable daily operations of the Target Studio Workshop. You will deliver sustainable financial processes and solutions, for the Fabrication and Custom Production Shop, a dynamic and quickly growing in-house capability. You will provide objective financial insights to leaders and budget-holders, and be a critically important strategic partner in enabling the long-term growth and future-state of the Workshop as an enterprise resource. This role reports to and engages in a regular cadence with Workshop Senior Manager. Core responsibilities of this role are described below, and may change at any time due to business needs.

Financial Manager, Target Studio Workshop

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes Workshop financial processes that meet the varied needs of Target Creative and interdepartmental teams
- Provides ongoing solutions to ensure that the Workshop remain compliant with Contractor Management, Accounts Payable, and Marketing Finance guidelines and Target best-practices
- Partners and interfaces regularly with Marketing Finance and Accounts Payable
- Provides financial metrics to inform leadership of budget risks and opportunities
- Collaborates with Workshop Sr. Manager to capture long-term metrics, trends and insights to drive future channel initiatives, and support business cases for increased capabilities
- Develops real-time reporting capability by adapting and leveraging Target-supported systems and software to provide dashboard-level visibility to admin budget, project budgets, and contractor utilization
- Provides ultimate labor billing oversight to ensure 30 - 50 contractor entries per week are correctly routed to admin and project budgets
- Partners and interfaces regularly with Channel Managers and Workshop Sr. Manager to oversee budgets at the project level, providing ongoing updates and alerts of pending budget risk
- Partners with Channel Managers in support of accurate project estimating, actualizing change-order impacts, and post-project budget reconciliation
- Establishes and owns the forecasting processes of adjusting larger project budgets in SAP, and communication with budget-holder partners and Marketing Finance
- Regularly sets-up Marketing Promo IDs that reconcile to partner-specified funding sources in SAP
- Reconciles labor, material, and vendor expense entries in Workshop Project IDs to budget-holder PIDs through SAP transfer process in partnership with Accounts Payable
About you:
- 4 year degree (accounting or finance) or relevant experience
- 5-7 years relevant finance experience
- Strong analytical, decision-making, project management and organizational skills
- Strong aptitude for finding innovative and bold solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent leadership skills with an enthusiasm for collaboration, innovation, and a passion for results
- Experienced in collaborating across departments and businesses
- Ability to readily build relationships and trust with internal and external partners across levels
- Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, MS365, and SAP skills preferred
