Machine Operator and Assembler
Machine operation of laser marking machines, laser welding machines, quality capture by camera
Ensure machine settings are to specification at all times
Prepare component kits in typically 500 piece groups in readiness for assembly
Visually check that each machine operation has occurred
Verify components coming into the work area are of correct condition to achieve assembled product characteristics
Inspect and measure parts and finished pieces to ensure quality and adherence to job specification; maintain records
Operate equipment supporting assembly activity such as labeling and packaging systems.
Perform other duties and project work as assigned by Production Supervisor
Ability to work under pressure to meet production targets
Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Experience in an engineering assembly workshop environment including use of automated and semi automated equipment.
Experience: 3+ years’ experience in material fabrication and assembly or similar trade for production of precision assemblies.
Dedication to producing work of the highest quality.
Skilled in CNC controlled or similar high-tech equipment.
Work Schedule: 6:00am – 2:30pm
