Hours: Training will be on 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm M-F and will eventually move to a 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm M-F
Starting Pay: $14/hr for training and $14.70/hr once complete.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Duties Read Rx and verify posers, thickness, lens style, etc. Spot and mark lenses and place in appropriate position on job tray Discard old lenses when warranty is used Secondary Duties Cross-train in other positions and help in other areas of the department as needed Perform post final inspection as needed Assist in breakage entry and re-dos Clear tray of sample lenses or notes before sending for wash up QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Must understand optics and be able to read Rx Finish lab experience is required Must have a working knowledge of optical lab production processes Ability to read prescriptions Math skills Able and willing to work as a team Able to read and write English language well Good eyesight, hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail and patience Work without supervision Must be available to work overtime and Saturdays when needed Stand, walk, reach with hands and arm, talk and hear Frequently required to use hands to manipulate, handle or feel Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities; close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus Please send resumes to email@example.com or call 763-780-0724 to inquire!
