Hours: Training will be on 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm M-F and will eventually move to a 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm M-F
Starting Pay: $14/hr for training and $14.70/hr once complete
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains assigned equipment operational Clears errors from equipment and restarts equipment Ensures equipment has all necessary consumables loaded for operation (alloy, blocks, pads, polish, etc.) Ensures equipment is kept clean during the shift Takes part of scheduled equipment clean up Informs management of equipment malfunction Informs management of quality issues Informs management of any equipment issues Keeps area clean Help in other areas when needed Helps with light calibration, setup, and maintenance operations. Records data accurately from equipment of process as requested by management Cross trains on tasks from other areas of the lab QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED Experience in the Optical Industry as it relates to ophthalmic lenses is desired Experience working with Automated equipment, CNCs, or computers Able and willing to work as a team Basic Math Must be able to work Overtime, Saturdays and Sundays and some holidays when needed Able to read and write English Language well Able to memorize large amounts of data accurately Computer skills (Windows, MS Office) Experience or knowledge working with automated equipment Problem solving skills Work without constant supervision Able to record information as requested in manual logs or computers Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time Must be able to lift up to 10lbs
