JOB POSITION: SeniorEngineer
LOCATION:7000 Target Parkway North, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445
DUTIES: Write, develop and unit test software, and build, test and implement infrastructure components that meet the needs of the design specifications; perform coding on middleware and back-end technologies to createmicroserviceapplications; effectively utilize enterprise provided tools to develop and implement components; write unit test cases, perform unit testing and integration testing and report results; lead the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of services; identify and escalate issues that impact project performance; diagnose, isolate, and de-bug software problems and perform problem resolution; and adhere to standards, best practices, processes, and deliverables in accordance with employer standards. Tools/technologies used: Java, Groovy, Shell Scripting, Postgres SQL, Oracle SQL, SQL Server, Spring Boot, Kafka, RESTful Web Services,Microservices, Postman, Insomnia,Gradle, JUnit,SonarQube,Jacoco, PMD, Check-style, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD),Git, Drone, Chef, IntelliJ Idea, Eclipse,MacOS, Windows, Linux, and Agile.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related field and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in software development/design (any title) working with core Java, front-end, middleware & back-end technologies, performing database design, unit testing, and including at least three (3) years of experience with Java, Groovy, Shell Scripting, Oracle SQL, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services, and JUnit.
