As a Director working within our Talent and Change organization you are responsible for creating and delivering talent development programs for Target's Contact Center organization including hourly team members, team leaders, sr. leaders, and our global contractor population. You will work with leadership to translate business priorities into a talent development strategy which includes onboarding, upskilling and system enhancement training and enterprise programing. You and your team will help advance the guest experience through the design, development and execution of learning and development programs. Additionally, you will:

  • Set and drive a comprehensive talent development and change readiness strategy for contact centers by understanding and identifying the learning needs of our contact center teams
  • Stay current on trends in the retail, talent development, and change management spaces
  • Use proven methodologies for understanding client needs, designing experiences, and developing courses
  • Assess the impact of learning initiatives and leverage data and insights to continuously enhance offerings to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Ensure consistent communication and partnership with HR and key leaders in the business
  • Act as project manager of a diverse set of initiatives and leverage experts to create effective products that drive maximum impact and ease
  • Build and lead a capable and engaged team by setting and aligning priorities, coaching through giving real-time feedback, and developing talent

About you:
  • Four-year degree in HR, Learning & Organization Development, or equivalent work experience
  • Eight-plus years of retail experience in organizational development and learning, facilitation and training, change management, etc.
  • Experience in contact center management, operations or HR
  • Experience in designing and/or executing training within a distributed, technology-driven retail environment
  • Ability to design innovative learning & development solutions with a guest point of view and full enterprise perspective
  • Experience in implementing complex, multi-unit, multi-audience change or development programs
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with, and influence, peers, and senior leaders across the organization
  • Demonstrated success in leading and engaging a team through coaching, recognition, empowerment, and care
  • A growth mindset (resilience, curiosity, enthusiasm for the future, and a bias for action)
  • Best-in-class ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously in a spontaneous, fast- paced environment, with excellent attention to detail
  • Leadership experience preferred
