Ballard Spahr LLP has an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Docketing Clerk that can be located in any Ballard office.  The successful candidate will support attorneys and paralegals in tracking litigation deadlines utilizing the e-Dockets software and become part of a growing nationwide team of docket support personnel.

The ideal candidate must possess experience: working with legal teams to ensure that litigation deadlines are accurately recorded and distributed; reviewing litigation filings to identify all relevant deadlines; researching Federal, state and local court rules to assist in answering questions on deadlines; working with legal teams in multiple offices; and balancing a fast-paced workflow.

Qualified candidates must have working knowledge of litigation docketing procedures and have three to five years of litigation docketing/calendaring experience using a rules-based docketing software while working in a law firm, corporate legal department or government agency. A two-year college degree is preferred. Must be available to work beyond the standard scheduled hours as needed. Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
