Hunter Hamilton has partnered with a successful software service company located in Bloomington, MN to bring a Senior Accountant onto the team! This position presents the opportunity to join a well tenured team with ample room for growth. The individual in this role will be performing revenue recognition, working alongside leaders to assist with budgeting/forecasting, and implementing processes improvements. Job Duties:

  • Complete monthly and annual financial statements
  • Perform proper revenue recognition
  • Analyze expenses and revenue to assist with forecasting
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and complete month end close
  • Assist with annual audit
  • Lead special projects as assigned
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years in an accounting role
  • Experience with revenue recognition
  • Advanced proficiency using Excel
  • Experience using Oracle a plus
  • CPA/MBA preferred but not required
