QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen, Inc., a leading manufacturer of refrigerated food
products, is seeking an individual with a positive attitude, good recording and organizational skills to join our team.
This position is a full time Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., hours may vary depending on special projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and insight to the organization on matter of food quality and food safety.
- Lead the quality team in delivering results to the organization.
- Use coaching and management skills to develop each member of QA Team.
- Develop employee’s plant-wide through training and creation of over-all quality awareness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. or B.A. Degree in Food Science, with a focus in food safety.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Food Manufacturer or related industry.
- Is Familiar with SQF, FDA, (FSMA) and other regulatory and industry guidelines and requirements. Holds PCQI and HACCP Certificates. Also, knowledge of CFR 117 or 111.
