Position Description This position is responsible to achieve enrollment goals for Special Needs Plans (SNP) by providing product education to potential members and referral sources. Responsible to participate in a centralized sales environment to support and attain enrollment goals in all UCare programs. Schedule and conduct presentations which require travel and occasional evening and weekend hours.

• Qualify leads, generate interest and educate prospective members for all UCare programs by telephone and in direct sales. Manage the prospect database including recording and updating prospect information.

• Understand and follow CMS and DHS requirements with regard to application processing timelines, sales events, outreach activities, unsolicited contacts and all other CMS and DHS regulations related to sales and marketing.

• Meet/exceed annual enrollment goals for SNP products as well as all product enrollment goals. Meet/exceed established sales call quotas and timelines for follow-up to inquiries.

• Schedule and conduct sales presentations to potential prospective members and referral sources.

• Identify trends and opportunities in the marketplace. Establish and maintain professional relationships with and provide education to key contacts such as community advocates, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, county workers, clinic staff and other providers.

• Participate in sales strategy meetings and share information regarding successful strategies with other members of the sales team.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or health care related field; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree. A current and unrestricted Minnesota Accident and Health Insurance license is required, or ability to obtain within six months.

Required Experience Two years direct sales. Social worker experience, or experience working with seniors or people with disabilities. Experience developing and delivering sales presentations.

Preferred Experience Relevant experience in health care/managed care and/or long-term care.
