A company in Chaska, MN is looking for a 2nd shift Mechanical Assembler to add to their team on an ongoing basis! The Mechanical Assembler provides assistance in the assembly of sub components for a medical device company. Other job duties include:

  • Align, calibrate, and execute test methods according to operational plans
  • Read and comprehend blueprint drawings
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and escalate as necessary
  • Utilize various hand and power tools to assembly and test products

Hours: 4:00pm – 2:30am, Monday – Thursday (must be available for occasional OT on Fridays)
Pay: $17-20/hour
6 month contract, with the potential to extend


  • 1 to 2 years previous experience in a mechanical assembly role
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and testing equipment
  • Previous experience assembling equipment, not parts
  • Must have the ability to read and write in English
  • Computer experience is required as the candidate will be required to do some basic data entry to complete job documentation
  • Ability to perform complex assembly / test procedures
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
