A manufacturer located in Brooklyn Park, MN is looking for an Inventory Coordinator on a Temporary-to-Hire basis! This opportunity is 1st shift and looking for candidates to start ASAP! Pay is $18 - $20/hr Depending on experience!

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inventory Clerk is primarily responsible for the Warehouse / Stockroom, including transacting of materials into and out of inventory (both physically and in the ERP system). This person may also serve as a backup in the area of shipping and receiving.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Place materials into stockroom (after receiving / inspection). Confirm paperwork is correct, resolve any discrepancies as needed.
 Assist with weekly inventory cycle count.
 Manually pick parts as required to fill Work Orders / Sales Orders.
 Perform all duties in an efficient and timely manner, with high standards for keeping accurate records and transactions in ERP system.
 Add, remove, and maintain efficient and orderly stock locations as needed.
 Fulfill part shortages in Manufacturing when late materials become available.
 Move kitted materials to needed work center.
 Restock excess materials.
 Shipping and Receiving back-up: Physical and logistical receiving, verify part numbers & quantities match purchase orders. Confirm receipt of necessary documents. Package product for shipments (FedEx / UPS).

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To be effective in this role, an individual must be able to perform each key responsibility at a high level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, or traits vital for success:
 Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. without assistance, bend, stoop, climb ladders and stand for more than 6 hours per day.
 Ability to operate a fork truck.
 Knowledge of warehousing methods, including precautions and procedures required to work safely.
 Detail oriented, strong organizational skill.
 Self-starter with initiative to identify and resolve problems; work effectively with minimal supervision.
 Competence with MS Office products (Word, Excel) and ERP system (Visibility); Working knowledge of Bill of Material structure.
 HS diploma. Additional education or training a plus.
 Minimum 3 years relevant work experience, 5+ years preferred.
