Do you have experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, palletizing robots and shrink wrapping machinery? If so, we'd like to speak with you about a temporary opportunity at our client company in Alexandria. As a Material Handler, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Inspect and operate forklift prior to shift and complete accurate documentation
  • Monitor raw packaging material/supplied to support production
  • Keep supplies stocked while maintaining an organized work area
  • Monitor and fix issues with palletizing robots and other equipment
  • Maintain material in a first in, first out basis
  • Communicate pertinent information at shift change
This is a temporary position expected to last 2-3 months. Hours are 8pm-8am on a rotating schedule of 3 days one week and 4 days the next, including every other weekend. Pay is $18.90/hr.

Qualified candidates are detail and safety focused, and able to read and understand directions. Must be a team player with strong decision making and problem solving skills. This is an active position that requires ability to lift 50lbs and get on and off the forklift several times during the shift.
