A role in the Finance Ops calls on your skills for quality financial and inventory reporting and accurate financials and technical accounting while providing thoughtful and responsive support, expertise and guidance to business partners. Your role will be critical to ensuring the success of Target's business initiatives and core retail operations.

As a Sr Payroll Processing Spec, your role will be critical to ensuring the success of Target's business initiatives and core retail operations. You will be an active partner in the timely and accurate payroll processing for all U.S. team members. Job responsiblities will include processing weekly and biweekly payroll audits and pay input into Workday to facilitate accurate payroll processing for all Target team members. Other responsbilites include responding to pay related inquiries, collecting overpayments, and working with the team to complete garnishment paperwork. You will collaborate with key partners including, the Global Payroll team, Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Finance and Employee Relations. The Sr Payroll Processing Spec is an individual contributor but part of a very collaborative payroll operations team. The right candidate for this role will bring a natural curiousity to help identify more efficient processes to continuously improve the payroll operations. About you:

• B.A/B.S degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel)
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced enviornment
• Experienced in collaborating across departments within a large organization
• Ability to handle confidential data with high level of discretion
• Strong attention to detail
• Communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal form
• Multi-state payroll experience desired
• Workday experience desired
