  How the Position Works
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, general ledger reviews, forecasting and budgeting.

The specific responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include:

  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies
  • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
  • Coordination with the Company’s enterprise data warehouse which will provide monthly inputs for the financial systems
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of assigned business process areas
  • Develop and maintain procedures around closing and consolidations
  • Identify, document and implement further business and accounting workflows, policies and procedures
  • Prepare documentation for External Auditors
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and fixed assets
  • Participate in and contribute positively to work/team environment
  • What you need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Experience working with Oracle
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with different business stakeholders, clients, and teams
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • CPA Certification is a plus
