Description:
Sr. Manager, Target Plus Knowledge & Content

About us:

Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America's leading retailers.

Right along with Target's distinctive retail brand, we are constantly improving and innovating our digital shopping experience. If you excel in fast-changing environments and have a passion for retail and the guest shopping experience, you'll have success in Target Plus™, Target's growing online marketplace. Here, you'll collaborate to create and implement the digital strategies that enrich the online experience for third-party marketplace sellers and guests. Your ideas will support scalable growth and create efficiencies for the Target Plus merchandising and operations teams.

As a Sr. Manager, Knowledge & Content, you'll develop the strategy, structure, and process for all seller-facing knowledge about Target Plus. You'll lead and coach cross-functional teams to identify and create knowledge content and establish best practices for Target Plus content management.

Other core functions:
  • Authoring, editing, and managing content. You'll autonomously write and edit all content to follow the Target Plus style guidelines. You'll work with Product and Operations teams to proactively update catalog for any program or process changes.
  • Measurement. You'll determine the strategic success measures and necessary reporting for content effectiveness and business impact. You'll represent content library metrics, insights, and efficacy to the broader Target Plus team and lead cross-functional action plans based on your findings.
  • Content optimization. You'll use seller insights and behaviors to increase the effectiveness of entire content library, including search and keywords, and use data to audit library and/or taxonomy gaps.
  • Tool enhancements. You'll partner with Product and Target Guest Services teams on tool enhancements (Salesforce Knowledge) and build business cases for Target Plus-specific needs.
  • Asset creation. You'll consult with Subject Matter Experts and scope when additional assets (ex. images, videos, training) are needed to effectively communicate a concept. You'll partner with creative teams and project manage any advanced development needs.

Writing samples may be requested during the interview process.
