Full-time position in the House Republican Caucus of the Minnesota House of Representatives. Beginning immediately.

The IT Analyst provides technical analysis, support and training to House Republican Leadership, Members and Staff. This position also supervises IT staff. The applicant will be expected to demonstrate actual experience in analyzing a department’s technical service needs, proposing possible solutions, and implementing those solutions in a customer-friendly manner. 

Candidates should have at least 3 + years of Novell NetWare (MicroFocus) 6.0 or higher experience.  They must demonstrate desktop and notebook, as well as smartphone hardware and software expertise and actual experience diagnosing/troubleshooting related problems on both PC and Apple products. Candidates must also have application development, testing and maintenance experience in database management and Office 365 products. Experience supporting Exchange and other email services on all smartphones is also required.

Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a demonstrated proactive customer service approach.  Network CNA certification strongly desired.  BA/BS preferred.  Must be available to work some long, irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. Ability to bend, lift and transport computer monitors and accessories (approximately 40 pounds) is required.

Entry salary: $56,846.16 per year commensurate with experience.  Excellent benefits.
