ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT

Position Description

This position is responsible to develop and deliver change management strategies across business areas, PMO portfolio and within the Organizational Change Management (OCM) Practice to support continued maturity in UCare's change capability. Support the development of the OCM practice in maintaining and improving the standards, promoting the practice, and assisting with the development and monitoring of the enterprise change agenda as well as change metrics.

• Support and deliver customized change strategies including stakeholder and change impact assessment, communication and training plans, OCM roadmaps, measurement and sustainment plans as needed with key stakeholders and leaders across the organization.

• Develop and maintain relationships across the organization to facilitate collaboration across business departments and functions to deliver desired initiatives/projects outcomes, while maintaining the integrity of UCare's processes and technology.

• Contribute to the development and facilitation of work sessions and/or change activities to strengthen organizational change capability (leaders & employees).

• Continually review and improve OCM standards, tools, techniques, associated artifacts and change metrics, in partnership with the change team, to ensure UCare is maintaining industry best practices.

• Promote OCM service offerings in contributing to the OCM Change and Communications Approach: enhance the OCM SharePoint site to showcase successes, examples and tools; publish a monthly change newsletter for leaders; develop micro-learning segments; write HUB article to showcases successes; facilitate conversations with the change advisory group etc.

• Administer OCM satisfaction survey and other ad-hoc surveys; analyze results and make recommendations.

• Ensure common set of practices, principles, templates, standards and methodologies for managing change throughout the organization, are being followed within the PMO and throughout the organization.

• Assist in the development, management and monitoring of the enterprise change agenda: evaluate the change magnitude associated with each new request; support the set-up for change management data in the Change analytics tool, monitor major changes underway or planned; track and maintain change management metrics.

• Report change activities and metrics including highlights for leadership's attention on a weekly/monthly basis.

• Assist leader in recruiting, training and developing new staff and contingent staff; lead new hire orientation for new team members.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelors' Degree; demonstrated experienced may be considered in lieu of degree. Change Management certification such as Prosci or ACMP preferred.

Required Experience

5 years' experience in executing small to medium scale initiatives; including organizational change, business process management, systems implementations/conversations and operational excellence. 2 years' experience in business/organizational transformation and change management work. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. Experience with project management methodologies, tools and phases for project lifecycle. Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft office; including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Preferred Experience

3 years program management experience. Healthcare insurance industry experience. Experience in small to medium technology solution implementation.
