A role with Creative Production means that you'll be part of a team that leads Target's digital and print production strategies to life for Target's guests. The team has a broad range of responsibilities including strategy planning, creative, operations, and production execution. The 3D Production team is responsible for Target's 3D digital and print executions by working part of a cross-functional creative team.

As Lead Visualization Artist/Director, you will lead and manage creative projects, direct creative staff and act as a brand stewart for a global production team responsible for creating 3D photo-realistic digital imagery combining the virtual with the real world. You'll lead 3D artists, contractors and external agencies to concept, design and develop creative executions that support the Target brand and meet our strategic business objectives. You'll stay ahead of the latest cultural, style and technical industry trends and you'll inspire and guide a collaborative team towards innovative approaches and ideas. You will work as a part of a collaborative creative team to produce 3D photo-realistic executions for web and print. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. About you: (4-7 bullet points)
  • Bachelor's degree in 3D Art preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years' experience marketing, architectural or entertainment industries
  • 2+ years' experience in a creative leadership role
  • Portfolio that demonstrates quality 3D photo-realistic visual and motion design skills
  • Advanced skills in all aspects of the 3D pipeline, including modeling, rigging, animating, UVing, texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering
  • Excellent understanding of composition, color and storytelling
  • Understanding of photography and real-world lighting principles
  • Thorough understanding of production processes for web, print and video
  • Advanced knowledge of Substance Suite, Adobe Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, V-Ray, Corona, Z-Brush, Clo
  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact with all levels both internal and external
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Adept at managing multiple, concurrent and complex projects
  • Ability to identify the need for change and lead others through it
