A role within Remodel and New Store Operations means a big opportunity to continuously improve the how new stores come to life and how remodels modernize and enhance the guest experience in stores.

As a Store Operations Sr. Business Partner - Small Formats, you will be responsible for managing Special Projects and designing processes and operational improvements to ensure we continue to grow topline sales for the enterprise by delivering on our New Store and Small Format long range growth plans. You will play a key role allowing us to scale the portfolio, open new locations, and optimize existing stores to bring joy to guests in new neighborhoods across the country. You will manage Special Projects spanning Fulfillment, Replenishment, Front End, Sales Floor, and Food businesses. You will influence key business partners and drive accountability across a large diverse Cross Functional Team (CFT) of internal partners from a variety of functions, including Construction, Store Design, Store Operations, Procurement, Marketing, Transportation, Merchandising, S&P, GSCL, Capital Finance, etc. You will build relationships with field, internal, and intra-pyramid partners to drive Special Projects forward and act as an advocate for Stores by developing plans, addressing escalation questions and concerns to key stakeholders. You will demonstrate your ability to be flexible and deal with ambiguity to assist with upfront backroom planning and profiling for new and existing stores. You will be responsible for equipment ordering, analyzing data to provide meaningful insights and drive operational changes. You will develop timelines and resources to ensure deadlines are met including: store communication, updating online tools and tracking mechanisms and data sets, and providing information to partners. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to utilize strong collaboration skills to support planning and execution for new growth concepts. You will be curious, asking questions and challenging the status quo with a continuous improvement mindset as you work with key partners and stakeholders. Your ability to leverage experts from across the enterprise, synthesize and then advocate for best-for-team and guest solutions will fuel your success in this space. About You:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a retail or operations environment
  • Project and process management/ownership experience
  • Strong written, verbal, and conflict management skills
  • Ability to establish, maintain, and influence cross-functional working relationships at multiple levels
  • Ability to connect projects and concepts across teams to create an informed perspective
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems with limited direction
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to leverage data/analytics in problem solving
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Previous stores experienced desired
