The City of Chisholm, MN, population 5,000 is accepting applications for the position of Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver/Utility.

JOB DEFINITION: 

Under general supervision, operates small to heavy motorized vehicles and equipment, assists with Utility/Labor Duties throughout the City of Chisholm.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent AND three years of verifiable experience in the operation of small to heavy motorized vehicles and equipment.  Possession of and maintain a minimum of a valid State of Minnesota Class B commercial driver’s license.

Pay Scale: This is a Class II, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME)  position with a pay rate of $28.15/hour upon completion of 120 working shifts of a probationary period and one (1) year of service. The first 120 shifts worked are paid at 80% of pay scale. After 120 shifts worked, pay is 90% of pay scale.
