Doc Services - Project Manager 

Summary: 
 

This position is responsible for the management, coordination and information handling for department projects and data collection activities to ensure customer satisfaction. Provides direction to other staff members relative to assigned clients and serves as the key customer, vendor and company contact regarding project requirements

 

Essential Position Responsibilities:
 

Provide accurate scheduling and cost-estimates for print/mail projects

Develop proposals and regular interaction with clients and internal team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects by organizing required work and addressing issues.

Provide job ticket / work instructions for internal productions

Follow “Proofreader Quality Checklist” for all jobs to ensure ISO compliance

Qualifications
 

Bachelor's degree in business, a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum of 4 years project management experience

Minimum of 2 years experience working with variable/digital printing

Possess familiarity with large scale mailings, postal regulations and knowledge of data layouts and variable programming

Possess proficiency in Microsoft Suite software

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Flexibility in work hours, including the ability to work OT based on business needs

Familiarity with job floor data code, systems, prefer logic.

Understands the correlation of quality inspection and ISO certification requirements

 

 

Reporting to this position:  No direct reports

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Relate effectively and work respectfully with diverse work groups

Ability to consistently perform well during times of increased work load

Set and meet deadlines

Manage multiple job functions simultaneously

Other duties as needed

 

Physical Requirements:

This job requires frequent walking, pushing, lifting and grasping, the ability to hear clearly at conversation levels, the ability to lift objects of 50 pounds or more routinely and have clear close, peripheral and distance vision. The essential duties must be performed satisfactorily in order for an individual to successfully fulfill the requirements of this position. This position will be occasionally exposed to intense noise.
