Assistant Professor of Music Therapy
Augsburg University is seeking a full-time, tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Music Therapy on our Minneapolis, MN campus. Teach courses in music therapy curriculum, including functional music skills, musical therapy methods, clinical practice, and graduate courses based on area of expertise. Req PhD in Music Therapy or a rel field. Req 1-year rel exp in music therapy clinical practice and research and 12 months of exp (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1) music therapy clinical practice and research; and 2) teaching and supervising music therapy students. Must hold board certification in music therapy (CBMT or foreign equivalent) or be a registered music therapist (RMT or foreign equivalent). Exp may be gained before, during or after graduate studies.
