The College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Professions and the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at South Dakota State University are seeking to fill the position of a Grant Proposal Specialist. Position is open until filled with full consideration given to applications received by February 12, 2021.

The Grant Proposal Specialist will assist faculty and staff with development, preparation, and submission of proposals for external funding in order to increase the quality of proposals submitted to funding agencies. This is a full-time, 12-month, benefit-eligible position.  Minimum qualifications include an earned Bachelor's degree in a relevant field by first day of employment; at least one year of relevant experience such as technical writing, grant proposal editing, etc.; proficiency in use of computers, including MS Office applications and databases; ability to work independently with self-initiation; effective team work, organizational, and time management skills; effective written communication skills and proficiency in writing, editing and proofreading; effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.  Must be authorized to work in the U.S.  Sponsorship is not available for this position.
