The position is responsible for supporting the quality and performance excellence activities in communities within Benedictine. The Quality Improvement Specialist (QIS) supports community Quality Management Coordinators (QMC) and will have primary responsibility for coordinating quality improvement teams and activities using the PDCA and Lean improvement techniques. The QIS will have working knowledge of process design, lean improvement tools and techniques, PDCA problem solving and the seven basic tools of quality. This position works in collaboratively with the associates in all departments especially clinical services and operations associates.
