Position Description This position is responsible for assistance with documentation, maintenance and management of ongoing activities related to the vendor management program. This will include vendor review and setup, vendor lifecycle activities, delivering interpretation advice, reporting, and resolving issues through effective partnering with internal stakeholders and vendors. This level of support will ensure UCare receives the intended value from the agreement and we continue to enhance our relationship with core vendors.

• Manage new vendor setup and change process including obtaining appropriate documentation from business owners, entry into Oracle and Compliance 360 vendor databases.

• Manage initial vendor assessment process including pre-qualification, classification, and risk rating with input from key stakeholders including Security, IT, Compliance and business owners. Provide results to Legal to inform contracting process and negotiations.

• Gather, analyze and report metrics to Vendor Management Manager and key stakeholders on identified SLAs, regulatory metrics and key performance indicator surveys related to vendor performance.

• Maintain thorough understanding services provided by the vendor and translate into business context for stakeholders.

• Remain current on industry developments as they relate to vendor management programs and best practices.

• Maintain high quality of service to both internal and external customers

• Assist with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures to facilitate and improve operational efficiencies.

• Provider training and support for vendor management program.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education Bachelors degree; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience Two years of relevant experience to include: knowledge and experience of managing delivery of services from vendors and vendor lifecycle management, conversant with contract structure, ability to drive deliverables through a process work-stream, and strong attention to detail. Proven record of reporting and analysis.

Preferred Experience Previous experience working in the healthcare industry. Oracle and Compliance 360 experience a plus.
