SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST

Target Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Data Scientist at our offices in Minneapolis, MN. The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for defining data requirements and gathering and validating information, applying statistical tests. This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field and 3 years of related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) following appropriate analytical methodology including testing, baseline, measurement, and comparators strategy; (2) leveraging visualization platforms including Excel graphs and charts for tracking key metrics for reporting purposes; (3) interpreting results using raw data and data aggregation and creating SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation and production fixes; (4) implementing scaled Agile Framework, including creating user stories, scoring user stories based on complexity, attending agile ceremonies including prioritization and retrospective; and (5) strategizing with business and technical teams in building solutions, decommissioning legacy applications, and implementing technological advancements. Must also have coursework experience with the following technologies, Python, R, and Spark. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master's program.
