The University of Wisconsin-Stout is seeking a collaborative professional to serve as the primary accountant for the administrative complex comprised of the Provost and Chancellor’s Offices.  The position oversees the management of financial funding strings and budget development processes for several units within Academic Affairs and the division of the Chancellor.  The Accountant/Business Manager advises and consults with campus leadership to foster effective institutional finance management.  This role works closely and collaboratively with several university budget office personnel and serves as a resource for institutional fiscal policies and procedures. The Accountant/Business Manager is responsible for financial reconciliation and ensuring unit compliance with university policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
