Provides comprehensive standards, practices, and programs that meet the needs and best interests of the facility and residents.  Develops and facilitates growth within the Nursing Department by managing the training, development, and performance of the staff.  Performs assessments; develops and implements appropriate plan of care based on the residents’ needs.  Evaluates the plan of care and makes the necessary changes as needed.
