Description: This position is based in Brooklyn Park, with occasional support in Elk River. Weekend and night work as required.

As a Senior Manager you will develop IT strategies and ensure these strategies align with the entire IT strategy, domestically and globally. You are responsible for managing relationships, strategic planning, financial management, the development and leadership of the team, and innovation.

The position will be managing our TTC and TTCE locations, nights, weekday and weekend team members. There are three at each site. As well as managing the vendors responsible for Low Voltage cabling, install and decommission work on nights as well.

Operational management experience with RCDD designing and implementing low voltage infrastructure in enterprise and edge data centers, working knowledge of Tier III data center standards and Industry best practices around Data centers

  • Participate in IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.
  • Communicate decision, priorities and relevant efforts to appropriate levels of staff/resources.
  • Represent area in planning, development, implementation and problem resolution within Technology Services.
  • Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of your area.
  • Contribute to and execute the technology vision for a domain and work with business partners to propose enhancements to support TTS.
  • Participate in gathering needs and the business case through direct interaction with leaders. Communicate with IT leadership, global partners, business leadership and consultants to communicate project or technical platform/services, direction and changes. Ensure overall alignment to the IT strategy. Provide input to roadmaps and plans. Lead implementation according to strategies and plans for projects/platforms.
  • Provide support on setting future technology solutions for client teams. Participate in annual planning process for technology and business activities.
  • Coordinate all aspects of financial management at the project level and forecast staffing needs. Lead and develop team members, including career development activities and performance management as required. Stay current with industry knowledge and trends (both domestic and global trends).
  • Maintain an awareness of technological trends and use this knowledge to bring solutions to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge. Develop and proactively focus on industry trends for systems and processes. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description.

About you:
  • Understands basic retail functions and the specific organizational functions of the area supported
  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years leadership experience
  • Operational management experience with RCDD designing and implementing low voltage infrastructure in enterprise and edge data centers, working knowledge of Tier III data center standards and Industry best practices around Data centers
  • Experience working with senior leadership in critical outage situations.
  • Initial contact for outage and break fix situations of computer equipment, strong knowledge of network and server hardware connectivity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Deep understanding of agile development processes and methodology including continuous integration and delivery, with a mindset of building incrementally and delivering business value quickly
