LEAD DATA ENGINEER

Target Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a full-time Lead Data Engineer at our offices in Minneapolis, MN. The Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for the development of high performance, distributed computing tasks using Big Data technologies. This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field plus two (2) years of related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field plus 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) installation, configuration, and management of PostgreSQL & MySQL database servers; (2) creating, debugging, and deploying custom RPM packages for R and Python; (3) installing open source ELK stack for monitoring Hadoop infrastructure logs and metrics; (4) creating and maintaining fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using Chef, Docker and Git; and (5) working with the following technologies: Unix, Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS), Chef, Ansible, C, C++, UNIX Shell Scripting, Ruby, HTML, and MySQL.
