This role within the AP team means leading a team that develops the Assets Protection investigations process and program strategy. Your team will be responsible for developing and coordinating Assets Protection investigations training, tools and resources. You will work closely with the field and headquarters teams, Stores/DC Assets Protection, Store Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Inventory Accounting, Shortage Research and Analysis and other internal partners. Your team will also serve as a liaison to external partners including the Loss Prevention Research Council, RILA, NRF, ORCAs and other industry associations.

As an Assets Protection Director supporting Investigations Operations in stores and DCs, you will belong to a great team of genuine, diverse, courageous and versatile people who put integrity and ethics at the heart of everything they do. You will develop and communicate AP strategies and priorities, including tactical plans and expectations, to your team, peers and leadership across multiple teams. You will be financially accountable by prioritizing and driving continuous improvement. You will establish a culture of accountability through hiring, setting clear expectations, talent & development strategies and performance management. Through training and validation, your team will be able to anticipate and identify theft risks in key building processes and developing upstream solutions to reduce shortage and drive profitable sales; lead a shortage prevention and resolution culture. About you:
  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of retail loss prevention / assets protection experience
  • Lead strategic vision and drive organizational change
  • Experience influencing key business partners
  • Operate in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
  • Proven experience quickly adapting to changing priorities and tasks
  • Project and process management/ownership experience
  • Work in high intensity situations with composure and ease
  • Strong process background as well as critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships
