A role with our New Stores and Properties Segmentation team means working on our new stores in vibrant urban environments or in close proximity to university campuses, developing new market entries to bring the Target experience to new guests or supporting prioritized Guest segments and communities around the country. You will help identify, influence and implement efforts to better meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our Guests.

As Principal, Properties Store Segmentation (PSS), you will be responsible for ensuring that Target can deliver on our REACH goals to serve our Black guests and communities. You will be accountable for developing the strategy, enterprise partnerships, routines, processes and reporting necessary to create and equitable experience for Black Guests in stores across the country. You will get to work with experts across the enterprise to bring solutions together to ensure that prioritized stores are able to serve as long-term, engaged members of their communities.

Success will be measured by your ability to foster partnerships and build capabilities with experts across the enterprise to develop, implement and institutionalize PSS capabilities into new and existing stores. You will work across Store Operations, Merchandising, HR, Properties, Supply Chain, CR, Marketing, Finance and the New Stores teams to ensure that our stores teams are set up for success to offer our guests a welcoming, equitable and joyous shopping experience. You will have the opportunity to develop the criteria and measurements of success to demonstrate progress over time, including but not limited to Guest Access, Brand Affinity, Market Share and Economic Vitality in our prioritized stores.

Along the way, you will have opportunities to engage with and present to VP and SVP audiences to share progress, request support as necessary and help Target deliver on our commitment to driving social change. Our PSS stores are central to Target's commitment to driving social change today and as Principal of PSS, you will be a critical leader to ensuring that our stores demonstrate that commitment to our Black guests and the Black communities we serve across the country.

About you:
  • 10+ Years of Professional Experience
  • College Degree
  • Strong store operations acumen
  • Demonstrated experience cross-enterprise partnerships/strategy and leading and implementing processes to deliver results
  • High fluency in working with BIPOC community stakeholders
