Serves as an internal consultant on health information management issues including release of information, information security, information storage and retrieval, and record retention.  Writes and authenticates health record documentation, standardizes medical vocabularies, and use of classification systems. Maintains rules and protects against breach of confidentially by performing as the privacy and security officer.
