Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides vision and direction regarding processes, methods, and data to enhance analytic capabilities and drive greater return on our company-wide marketing programs and pricing investments
  • Provides analysis and insights regarding expected effectiveness and efficiency of customer/dealer-facing pricing and promotional activity including list price changes, sales discounts, sales allowances, cash discounts, floor planning, direct marketing commissions and co-op advertising
  • Prepares regular forecasts of expected spending on programs relative to accrual rates based on customer utilization and retail sell-through
  • Manages the key process flows ensuring proper control and policy compliance including workflows, system hierarchies, accounting (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Serves as a central resource for ad hoc reporting to division leadership
  • Provides direction, coaching, performance management and professional career development opportunities for team members

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, MBA, CPA or CMA desirable
  • 7+ years of experience in business, strategy, or accounting function; experience working with customer marketing programs or strategic revenue management preferred
  • Previous experience with strategic revenue management, pricing analysis, or channel marketing
  • Experience working in a matrixed, corporate environment with collaboration and communication skills to work both cross-functionally and within a larger finance function
  • Strong leader and coach with focus on career and professional development of staff
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to use BI tools to increase business performance and improve decision making
  • Customer-focused and results-oriented individual with a bias for action
  • Curious learner, self-starter
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Demonstrated success leveraging technology and systems to drive efficiency, accuracy and continuous improvement

Other Job-Related Components:

  • Provides direct leadership to both local and remote teams
  • Works closely with Corporate Accounting to ensure that the processes are in compliance with GAAP
  • Works closely with divisions, functions and customers ensuring timely communication
