The IT Department at St. Catherine University invites applications for a Senior Analyst for Operations Technology. This is a regular, full-time position.

The Senior Analyst takes new technologies implemented by Enterprise Computing, Academic Technology, or Infrastructure and Security teams and on-boards them for end users and the Operations Support team. Additionally, this position monitors support issues, implements improved processes, documents processes, and creates “how to” information for business users, ensuring the smooth operations of technology support

Responsibilities:


  • Works on larger projects within the Operations team which may include office or meeting room configurations, tracking software and hardware inventories, partnering with vendors on low voltage data wiring implementations, etc.
  • Partners with departments across the university to create smooth transitions from one technology to another in alignment with business needs.
  • Adapts quickly to new and constantly evolving technologies.
  • Promotes an environment of respect for all cultures, collaborating effectively with people from a variety of ethnicities, religions and abilities.
  • Approaches issues analytically and focuses on the development of effective solutions.
  • Serves customers promptly and respectfully.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience effectively translating technical issues and materials to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience working with technical engineers to translate complex technologies into processes and capabilities that can be more easily supported, managed, and maintained.
  • Experience in both the end-user and network aspects of technology.
  • Experience serving customers of all cultures promptly, respectfully and effectively.
  • Experience adapting to rapidly evolving products and technology

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading and managing projects.
  • Experience with form creation and planning.
  • Experience with knowledge management, KB creation in ServiceNow.
  • Experience creating and providing training on technical tools for non-technical end users.
