Position Description
This position is responsible for developing and executing communications for group Medicare and operational needs supporting the segment, ultimately helping support organizations Medicare goals by working with business units such as Sales, Product, Health Promotion and teams across the organization to ensure all touch points articulate the required and desired components of products and services available to Medicare members. Many deliverables are tied to key enrollment periods, so the ability to provide and manage communication expertise, writing and editorial coordination (consultation and review) in a specific timeframe is critical.

• Coordinate development and production of communications such as ANOCs and ENOCs for the business, as well as formularies for annual plans and associated tactics. This will include writing content with consistent tone and messaging across all materials.

• Coordinate with Marketing Traffic Coordinator and assigned designer for alignment on materials process and production timelines helping to improve member experience long-term.

• Meet with key stakeholders to develop and execute the tactics necessary to support member experience-ensuring operational-type content within the tactics align with Marketing and Sales communication plans for the channel.

• Provide input and collaborate with graphic designer on overall layouts to help ensure business owner and audience desired outcomes are being met overall.

• Collaborate with Government Relations staff to ensure compliance with CMS and other statutory requirements.

• Serve as an editorial resource and consultant to other departments on communications projects as requested, and work in a cross-functional or collaborative way with other areas of the organization and within the team.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Bachelor's or advanced degree in communications-related field.

Required Experience
Five years of corporate, non-profit communications or marketing experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Three years of direct response marketing and project management experience.

Preferred Experience
Health care communications experience preferred. Working within writing teams a plus. Experience working in a government-regulated industry is also preferred. Proficiency in Adobe InCopy desired - helping to expedite review process.
