Best Buy Co. has an opening in Richfield, Minnesota for the position of Cryptography Design Engineer. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or workflow. Design, deploy, and maintain Enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Ensure PKI systems align to company's information security policies and standards as well as industry best practices. Lead the configuration of PKI systems, test PKI systems and/or components to ensure readiness for product deployment. Ensure adherence to company's existing security policies and standards. Assist in maintenance/escalation support of all Enterprise Encryption Services. Work with senior members to evaluate upgrades, new products, technologies for the enterprise encryption solutions. Full Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent foreign degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a closely related IT field plus five (5) years of progressive, post-bachelors experience working in the design, implementation and optimization of Encryption Solutions. Experience must include: (1) engaging in initial requirement definitions including risk analysis and alignment with Information Security, Engineering, IT, and Architecture standards; (2) participating in projects deploying new encryption and data protection; (3) automation work via Power Shell; (4) preparing document design, installations, operations, and maintenance guides; and (5) developing end to end Key Management, Microsoft PKI, Payment gateways, Database Encryption, Venafi, and hardware security modules.
