The Solutions Architect II serves as a technical expert in software development. Responsible for ensuring that the most current and most appropriate technologies are integrated into the organization. Responsible for setting the standards for new software applications
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Architect, design, develop and debug applications in various software languages
Leverage creativity and drive innovation
Create technology Proof of Concept (POC)
Interact directly with Toro business leaders to create high value solutions
Lead software development teams utilizing appropriate executive methodologies (Agile, RUP, etc.) 6. Coordinate software testing and quality assurance with QA Teams
Offer technical expertise and guidance to entire project/product team
Drive process and product improvements to aspire to higher productivity and quality levels
Collaborate directly with business leaders and customers to optimize business opportunities with technology applications
BS degree in Computer Science or Related
10+ years of software development, programming, and analytical experience with 4 years in as software development team leadership role.

Microsoft Software Technologies – Design and development experience
Visual Studio 2019 and .NET 4.0 – C#, ASP.NET, WCF
SQL Server 2012 and higher
Experience with application testing principles and frameworks

Azure Function Apps

Fundamental knowledge of SAP
Some experience with Java, J2EE
