JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the creation of prepared products, order filling and cross-training amongst all process operator functions to serve as break and/or rotation duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all -inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.
- Assist with maintaining the established rate of efficiency determined for line and fill rates to established goals (Action Oriented, Perseverance)
- Pick and/or prepare product according to daily production needs (Decision Quality, Learning on the Fly)
- Ensure First-In First-Out “FIFO” guidelines are followed (Intellectual Horsepower, Problem Solving)
- Ensure equipment is set appropriately to meet production standards and yields (Priority Setting)
- Assist each team member with the proper training needed to perform their job function (Peer Relationships, Approachability)
- Maintain and follow standard operating procedures, food safety guidelines, quality assurance and product specifications. This includes the timely and accurate completion of all HACCP/USDA/FDA requirements (Technical Learning)
- Maintain a clean work area which may include cleaning floors, utensils, equipment, walls and metal surfaces to keep them clean, sanitary and orderly (Organizing)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensing
- Required: None required
- Experience:
- One to three years’ experience in food preparation
- HACCP experience preferred
- LFHI Competencies expected of all employees include: action oriented, customer focus, functional/technical skills, informing, and integrity and trust.
