A role in Owned Brand Buying offers the opportunity to define a growth strategy for our exceptional food Owned Brands, including Good & Gather and Favorite Day. Through cross-functional collaboration and data and insight-mining, you will be the expert on the guest, the market and the competition. You'll work with a cross functional team of food experts to define an innovative product portfolio and project roadmap that delivers value to our guests and top and bottom line results for our business. Here, you'll own a broad product portfolio so that your work is varied and challenging.

An Owned Brand Senior Buyer drives omni-channel growth by building profitable, differentiated assortments and a business plan that informs tactics across product development, sourcing/negotiations, pricing/promotions and merchandising. In this role, you'll provide performance insights to the category Business Units to meet the strategic and financial objectives for the category. You'll lead the Owned Brand cross functional team by representing the needs of guests and the business in day-to-day decision making and in prioritization decisions across product development, sourcing and marketing. You'll also provide key packaging inputs to initiate the creative process based on a thorough competitive assessment and desired messaging hierarchy and navigational needs. Your flexibility in reacting to project hurdles and your ability to translate financial metrics and data into actionable strategies will be critical.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of Merchandising or Brand Management/P&L experience
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills to grow a business
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional team
  • Flexible, resilient and comfortable working in "grey areas" that are constantly changing
