A role in Target Properties means you are supporting how we build new stores, remodel existing stores and support our existing stores distribution centers. You'll learn how we manage our real estate assets, design our stores, create and manage schedules, budgets and support contractor relationships to keep our stores looking great for our guests across the country.

The Properties Interns will job shadow and assist in managing projects and tasks for all core functions of the team. Responsibilities have exposure to a variety of areas depending on the team and project needs but goals will include:
  • Gain project management experience
  • Obtain experience/exposure to a corporate environment
  • Gain an understanding of data and technology processes that support the Properties team
  • Learn how to read design documents and what goes into developing schedules and budgets
  • Help us imagine the store of the future


About You:
  • Participant in the Step-Up Program
  • Interest in learning about the lifecycle of retail properties
  • Demonstrates initiative, confidence, and a desire to learn
  • Computer skills
