Clinical Placement Coordinator

Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as the Clinical Placement Coordinator (CPC) for the Department of Graduate Nursing at the WSU-Rochester Center. The CPC is responsible for autonomously identifying, tracking, maintaining, and evaluating clinical placement sites to provide clinical experiences that meet and enhance the educational requirements for students in the Department of Graduate Nursing. The CPC will be required to negotiate with health care organizations to contract for student experiences to meet the needs of the curriculum as well as participating in admissions, student recruitment, program assessment, evaluation, and other related activities. Minimum qualifications for this position are (1) a bachelor’s degree in nursing or health care, human services, education, or business field. Note: If degree is in Nursing, must be eligible for RN licensure in Minnesota; (2) three years of clinical nursing or health care, human services, education, or business field experience; and (3) background study in accordance with Minnesota Statutes.
