Senior Engineer

Target Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Engineer at our offices in Minneapolis, MN. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for software application development and developing engineering products. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) leading the design, lifecycle management, disaster recovery planning and writing code in Java to implement changes to applications hosted on kubernetes and Openstack running on Tomcat application servers; (2) executing research and proof-of-concept activities for new software technologies and business cases; (3) creating Application Programming Interfaces (API) using Spring Boot, Java, and creating event-based integrations with Kafka; (4) creating automated pipeline for integrating the developed code and deploying the build package into the server using Jenkins and Drone CI/CD tools and providing support to integration, performance and User Acceptance testing; and (5) utilizing the following technologies: Java, SpringBoot, Kafka, Git, Artifactory, JavaScript, C++, C, Shell Scripting, Spring, Hibernate, Python, OpenStack, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DB2, Docker, kubernetes, Jenkins, and drone, IBM Data Studio, IntelliJ IDEA, Agile, Jira, Spock, and K6.
