Software Engineer Senior - BizTalk

Location : Minneapolis, MN

Position Description

Design, build and expand utilization of BizTalk middleware system and MS Azure integration platforms with a focus on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design and integration. Participate in SOA and Enterprise Application Integration across functional areas. Perform migration/upgrades of existing BizTalk and related applications to newer versions. Maintain existing code, implement bug fixes, and fix issues and bottlenecks in the BizTalk Server environment including implementing performance improvements. Set up disaster recovery resources for BizTalk server environment. Implement HIPAA EDI. Assist with planning and execution of unit, integration and user acceptance testing across the application suite. Produce technical documentation and notification for changes to production systems or fixes to production problems. Provide design and technical expertise to small to medium sized projects within the department. Consult with business stakeholders and teammates to identify facets of an issue and generate a solution. Understand impact to processes and systems across the organization and factors these into solutions. Utilize the following tools/technologies: Microsoft BizTalk Server, BizTalk Deployment Framework, BAM, BRE, Microsoft SQL Server, TFS, ESB, XSLT, and C#.

Education

Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field of study.

Required Experience

Qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of software development experience working with the following tools and technologies: Microsoft BizTalk Server, BizTalk Deployment Framework, BAM, BRE, Microsoft SQL Server, TFS, ESB, XSLT, and C#. Qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience (a) maintaining BizTalk middleware platforms, (b) integrating BizTalk flows with various services, (c) developing BizTalk solutions, (d) creating functional and technical design documents, and (e) participating in unit and integration testing. All experience may be gained concurrently.
